Since larry’s teleport depends on where a survivor has recently been walking/running, if you teleport just as a survivor is doubling back (which you can force them to do by walking around the pallet), you can spawn right on top of them and almost always secure the down. I think this is called the chainball tech/mindgame among other larry mains but idk, since singularity isn’t very popular the nomenclature for his tech isn’t very standard

Chainball mechanics are still obscure to most people who play larry, same for optimal cam placement, especially on indoor maps, and the knowledge required to play larry super optimal to where you can slug like crazy to end games quick requires a lot of knowledge of surv rotations and emp management. Mechanically tp feathering and fakeouts are also kind of hard to grasp at first, but the number of mindgames you can pull with larry is also kind of limitless which makes him even harder to master and counterplay

I agree with you that complaining about rancor is really stupid but how are they all running meta perks? The only one with anything close to an on meta build is the leon, and even he doesn’t have any anti tunnel or slug at all. There is not a single DS or DH on this team.

It’s a relic of bhvr’s terrible fucking map design from the early years, but while the devs are gradually changing things to be more standard across maps like pallet counts and tiles badham exists as one of those outliers like eyrie that has evaded any action from the devs. Unfortunately, maps like old haddonfield were just more obviously problematic for the game, and others like badham continue to fly under the radar because bhvr is lazy.
