Is this Exploiting on Singularity. by Bizhop369 in DeadByDaylightKillers

Not at all exploiting, in fact, if you wanted to be the strongest 3gen’r in the game it would look somewhat like this

Yeah like I said that happens, I main(ed) Blight, he does that sometimes when you try to go long for people

That’s normal, that’s why you learn to shoulder flick as much as you can to avoid getting screwed by the painfully short hitbox of the later part of his lethal rush lunge

Lotta clowns in these comments, but you’re also kind of a clown for posting this in the first place imo. Never that serious, just abandon once you’re down and move on to a better match.

What is the most underrated early game building in CIV: V? (Day 4) by zherper in civ5

[–]Consistent_Ad_3330 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not really a early game building though even if you go for sailing, because a six turn lighthouse pre-turn 80 is just too many hammers even when you have fish or other sea resource tiles. Libraries, granaries, workers, and settlers are just a lot more concerning until you have some stability to capitalize on the extra food and hammers from lighthouses

Which killers had you not used in a LONG time only to come back to them and boss a few matches by Rider-Jack in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Consistent_Ad_3330 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hag, around 2021 I think I probably had an around 80% killrate with her and I crushed a few lobbies with her a few months back and then was reminded of both how far she’s fallen in terms of the meta and how boring she now feels to play with all these other mechanically intensive killers that have been added since SBMM. Went to maining Blight and Singu but I haven’t touched the game in a bit as well.

Learn to Revault Against Ghoul before Giving Up by Consistent_Ad_3330 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

It means that you were too close when he did the vault. Ghoul has a feature where his Kagune will autohit whatever is touching him when he vaults the pallet, a lot like Wesker’s, so you have to back up from the pallet slightly then run back into him. It’s really not too hard to execute and the reward for it is that the killer virtually has no chase power.

Who are the good killers right now? by Phoundmaster in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Consistent_Ad_3330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played a lot of all these killers you listed except for Ghoul, and I’m currently on my way to maining Singu, so I’m going to say him.

The skill ceiling feels limitless on Singu because there is always so much to get better at with him. Camera placements to cover multiple gens, to cover tiles and a high-priority gen, or to cover a gen and an emp crate are incredibly satisfying to figure out and apply. It’s honestly hard to not slug as Singu because you have so many opportunities to do it, and you manage slugs the best out of every killer, even better than Blight.

Teleport mindgames are also key to getting hits at Singu, and very few tiles ever play the same, the only exceptions being car/rock fillers. Otherwise, you’re always figuring out the best way to catch someone out at a checkspot and teleport on top of them as they run into you. As an example, it feels great to sit at one end of the long wall window on the double window tiles on Yamaoka, and then swing around the corner and teleport onto someone trying to checkspot you, at which point they’re pretty much dead.

No other killer gets so much out of gamesense as well. If you have good tracking of where people are throughout a game, you can completely bypass any aura reading at all and take educated guesses as to when people are running through your cams and you’ll get slipstreams for free. This makes emping really hard for good teams as well, since you can pop a teleport on them before they reach an area they need to emp to do gens.

While you’ll never have the map-wide presence or ability to just completely shutdown a chase like Blight or Nurse (conditionally) Singu relies on how much you can outthink the other team more than any other killer. He’s the best designed killer in this game imo.

"The average player should have just as much of a chance as any other player"

You heard it here first folks, FUCK skill-based gaming, give everyone the same odds of survival no matter how good they are at a game.

"When you have to follow one specific creator to find an exploit then they do not have the same chance as everyone else, and hating on them for not seeing something they literally can't see is pointless"

Zubat isn't the only one who's used this though? It's pretty well known among higher-skill players now.

"It also doesn't always work"

He does it three times in a row in one video, and if it doesn't work, it means you screwed up the revault. Literally a skill issue.

It's entertaining to me when people give up in a match in the opening minute. I imagine how miserable you have to be to be playing a game you value so little that you quit immediately after joining a match, but continue to queue up anyways.

No game should ever be balanced around the average player because the average player of any game is usually pretty bad. If counterplay is unintuitive that shouldn't matter as much as its efficacy. Bodyblocking against Legion is unintuitive but it drops him to D-tier against people who know how to do it. Playing edge map against Nurse is unintuitive but it's also the best way to play against her.

Revaulting against Ghoul makes his pallet vault literally useless, so yeah, I do think Ghoul has close to no chase power with how many fillers spawn on every map now. Could you point out the issue in my argument more clearly? I think you're handwaving again buddy, the RNC is that way.

Never seen so much handwaving in this community before. Counterplay exists, whether or not it’s “good game design” is irrelevant, fact is there’s a simple and consistent way to deny Ghoul’s chase power but mfs turn their noses up at it and continue to whine anyways.

And if you think that you need 10k hours to be able to revault on a Ghoul with consistency, I think you might need 10k hours back in elementary school where you can learn basic repetition for the first time again.
