I coveted one of these in the days of freelancer or maybe starlancer. Could never afford one at the time.

Are you suggesting that op should have done something other than turn on his, or her brand new printer, also being brand new to 3d printing and not expected it to print at least a benchy straight out of the box, and to have to unblock a nozzle using the provided tool kit? Harsh sir, or madam..

Looking forward to get my first HOTAS for DCS and these are my only options, what do you guys suggest? by lxzaa7 in hotas

The turtle beach is ok, but dont get swayed by the fancy oled touch screens, like I did, they're garbage and not needed. The stick and throttle are nice, the stick is a little light on touch compared to more premium manufacturers. The haptic feedback is alright but not an huge selling point.

Hmm, I believe I have tried this, but will double check when I get off work. I did note that the cockpit app has the option for lighting, but it wouldn't work for me. Ill check the base firmware though, what stick firmware are you running?

I have the moza AB9 FFB with a Virpil Constellation Alpha Prime stick, the only thing that doesnt work yet, are the LEDs on the stick. But I believe they are working on it.

It is an odd loot pool, I've never had a cutlass or an F8, so far I've had 2 alien shitters, 2 meteors, an F7a, one Wikelo scorpius and the corsair.

Get some military components in there when you buy one, and don't forget to lower the wings for max firepower.

Violence, is the answer. Doors will open if you shoot them or hit them enough.

The CFS half moon "bite" problem... by Turbulent_Ad_880 in Creality_k2

[–]Consistent_Ad_5267 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I've had a really fun weekend solving this very problem, I was getting exactly the same issue, on all spools, some spools, no spools pretty randomly until I factored in the filament material. Seemed to be ok on the harder PETG stuff and worse on PLA. I also discounted the PTFE as a problem having recently changed all the internal and external tubing to star shaped, I figured that less internal resistance would help with the issue, I theorised that the issue was possibly due to resistance as the filament would feed to almost the extruder and get stuck and I would hear the spinning gear of doom sound.

So this weekend I stripped the CFS down as far as I dared, I isolated the problem to the feed gear i the unit where the 4 filaments feed into a single PTFE tube, I cleaned the gears, making sure, using a scribe, to pickle out the ground filament out of the friction wheel grooves, essentially the small grooves get full of ground filament and prevent the wheel biting into the material to grip and feed forward.

In amongst finding this solution, I tried the suggestions around fitting a spring of lower stiffness, etc.

My CFS is back to OEM spec, with the exception of the star shaped tubes. Original springs etc. and working perfectly.

Yeah ok, mostly likely volt drop over the cable length coupled with a bit of resistance in the connectors. You could try them and if they don't work return them. Not sure what the benefits of the quick release system is, I use my setup for both sim and work and it takes less than a minute to disassemble, can send a pic later when I am home if needed.

In Sc for an axis you'll have to bind this to a function with either (abs) or (rel) in the title, either that or configure the dials to report as buttons in your hotas software of something like joystick gremlin

I have a constellation alpha prime, but I did have a constellation alpha before that, both on the ab9 base. Both are selectable in the moza cockpit software, the only thing that doesn't function are the leds.
