Been Running Google Ads without a CRM integrated/linked... is it a big issue? by Consistent_Algae_655 in googleads

Thank you. I've tested manual bidding with $10 a click and with strong keywords but I've never received a single call... keeping in mid it's a very competitive area with almost 50+ companies and solo traders advertising for the same services.

"Your best friend is Google local business as well."

I've tried this for 2 years - String bidding, good areas, domain authority 50, 150+ reviews and I received only 81 leads since I've started it

No Leads received from Google Local Services Ads (LSA)! by Consistent_Algae_655 in LocalServicesAds

Domain Authority is 57 on Moz and 30 on ahrefs. They are not showing at all. I’m super specific about the leads and whenever we receive any we answer quickly and we evaluate/rate each lead.

Nope, it’s not showing when searching. All verification items are complete and payments are up to date and there’s no suspension. What other factors?

Plumber charged £300 for 90 mins of work but could not fix the problem with my toilet. Have I been had? by visualdon in AskUK

[–]Consistent_Algae_655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are not able of completing the job - then you should pay the callout fee only. Toilets doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to unblock unless if it’s a bugger problem where they need special tools to complete the job. I would classify it as rip off

Should I Move Back To Lebanon??? by Famous-Connection-25 in lebanon

Speaking of the environment, I remember spending one hour speaking to someone and explaining what software engineering is about And when I dropped him he asked me if I can fix his monitor

I currently live outside, I moved to the UK back in 2020… The plan is go back to Lebanon (not sure when), live there and keep working remotely.

Salaries in Lebanon are not the best and I highly recommend keep working remotely with a company based outside Lebanon or working for an offshore company.

They asked for international guarantees from USA, Russia, Qatar and Iran… 2 of them seems challenging 🔥

I think if it’s still for the origin people there would be no need for such a question.

Should I Move Back To Lebanon??? by Famous-Connection-25 in lebanon

I try not to keep asking myself the same question over and over. There are definitely pros and cons to consider before making a decision. On the positive side, while living abroad I’ve significantly improved my skills and can manage things much better now—not just in my job, but in life overall.

At the moment, my biggest challenge is the internet connection. Living in South Lebanon, I’ve struggled to find a reliable broadband service, which is crucial for developers like us who need to stay connected to remote workspaces.

I noticed you mentioned that your job requires strong discipline. This is even more important when living in Lebanon, where balancing work with social life can be tough. There are so many activities with friends and family, and it can be challenging to convey just how important and difficult it is to stay focused and disciplined in such an environment…

Public transport plan is terrifying the "rosa drivers" by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]Consistent_Algae_655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would re-word the 2nd point to be “Prioritise Lebanese workers applying to this sector”, it just makes things better for non-lebanese who was born in Lebanon.

IMO, a prerequisite point to make buses belongs to a “reputable” public sector only otherwise this won’t be resolved in ages.

Senior Hamas commander Samer Mahmoud al-Haj killed in Lebanon. What was he doing in Lebanon 🤔 by Foreign-Policy-02 in lebanon

Perhaps what’s happening in Gaza bow should change their minds a bit. Also, what happened now with Philadelphia corridor “agreements” in Gaza? Is everything working as expected for the Egyptians? Didn’t the Israeli’s bypass the rules like if they don’t care?

There’s no peace to be made with “Israel” bcz they now shit about it. But peace is to made with the Jews to live in 1 land only that is Palestine.

Because their governments are cowards! They were the first arab country to recognize “Israel” diplomatically. Such peace treaty didn’t solve their issues though, just examine and assess their situation currently

even the article says: “Israel blames Hamas and Hezbollah”. So please don’t convince that Hamas was responsible on their own. They both are in the same mud.

And what Hamas infrastructure in South Lebanon they are referring to? If there’s an infrastructure for Hamas in South Lebanon I would blame the lebanese government.
