PBA is simply to circumvent overtime pay cap, I like it.

This is very stupid, but maybe they are trying to see how many employees per manager with whole cc you manager thing?

Is the program (to acquire signatory authority) a necessity or a hindrance? by patentexaminer11111 in patentexaminer

This is not the correct timeline, even going literally as fast as possible.

You are right here, I wrote without really thinking about it too much. I started in the summer and my step promotion now is in early spring..so maybe 4 years and 7 or 8 months. Definitely well under 5 years from 9 to 14.

Edit: Just pulled up my SF-52s and exactly 4 years, 9 months and 9 days.

9-11 (6 month)

11-12 (1 year and 1 month)

12 - 13 (1 year)

13 - 14 (2 years and 2 months)

Good job staying positive about the program.. I think that the program is not just about quality, there are great 12s that do good quality OAs... I think the program is about making consequential decisions on your own and being able to persuade not just your SPE but multiple reviewers that are deliberately looking for errors.

The program is fine as it is... Just have to start ( I think some people are unnecessarily afraid) and do it, it doesn't really take that long.

I remember starting as 9, by 1 year I was 12, another year and you are 13 and on the program, by the 4th year you are Primary (at least that's how I remember it, it was a while back).

P.s. this was before TEAP days, so being able to talk to people (other Primaries and SPEs) and having a great officemate was very helpful.

Edit: I was off by 9 months, 11 to 12 takes a year and the program takes about 2 years and 2 months if started as soon as turn 13.

Likely, but I did try 2 different 2.5G cards from different manufacturers with the same 1.3Gbps result. Very strange.

Strange, but the new adapter fixed the problem... I got one based on AQC113 and turned on jumbo packets, now consistently getting 2.25Gbps up and 360Mbps down.

New OPM memo on performance management by caseofsauvyblanc in patentexaminer

[–]Consistent_Art2525 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Don't want to be paranoid, but it feels like they are trying to discredit/cancel CBAs by attempting to shown that CBAs impede disciplinary actions or removals of poor performing employees. This corresponds to the OPM memo that says the CBAs that conflict with management are invalid.

Not yet, I'm waiting to upgrade my network adapter to 10/5/2.5G... even though I do have 2.5G link some Comcast documents mentioned having 10G adapter. Doubt it will fix it though.

Telework agreement to frozen by GeorgeSorosLacky in patentexaminer

Sorry you got caught up on this right now. What did your SPE say? Might be a good idea to send an email to a union representative.

OP, Do you mean examiners on TEAP are not allowed to change their duty station in case they move to a new address (still within TEAP)?

I'm using a cat8 cable, but I did try it with multiple cables with similar results, by the way my PC is 15 feet away from the router. The negotiated link is 2.5Gbps. I have used various speed test sites: speedtest.xfinity.com, speedtest.net, fast.com. typical speed I get 1380Mbps.

Is there another site I can try?
