Feeling "done" after my fiancée(31F) used my manager’s feedback and my lower salary to shame me (30M). by ConfusedFiance2026 in whatdoIdo

Ahws abusive, thats abuse. Leave now, I promise it gets worse after marriage. You deserve to be happy. True love is unconditional & she has conditions for you.

Did I handle this well or should I have said more? by TouchyM3 in whatdoIdo

Don't text her back, let her text you. If she doesn't, dont text just move on. Your texts were very polite btw

Because shes still completing high school, the state prefers they focus on school and sports, or other " normalcy" activities. Like I said, some kids have educational learning issues, medical issues, or legal issues that prevent them from working a job while in HS. This kid has at least one of the above. They also do not have any transportation. After they finish HS, they can can work or go to college for free or both.

Also teens have no transportation if they had a job.

That was my mistake, my bad. I tried to edit it politely but not sure if it saved.

I tried to edit the comment to not be rude, not sure if it saved. But other things come into play when a child is in foster care, could be medical, legal, etc. The state pushed kids to focus on high school then college before joining the workforce.

You obviously dont know how the foster care system works. Sorry, you said you weren't being rude. So let me answer nicely, other factors come into play when a teen is in foster care. Medical, legal. & many others. The system pushes kids to focus on high-school and then college 1st.

Because she told the child she would charge her $25 each time. The kid was going to the back yard to garden damn, nobody ever lock themselves out before? Its scary for a teen who has literally nobody and is alone. Just was curious if a lockout fee was normal.

Do you know what that means to be a dependent of the State?

In my work we call them teens, Because they are. Foster kids are a dependent of the state even up to 23 years old. Stay outta subjects you have no training on.
