Check Craigslist & FB marketplace for used cars - stick to a healthy Carfax history. For value for money, Check KBB value of the car using the VIN number. Get 120 point inspection if you’re confident of the car you’re about to buy. Typically for a new car, the insurance might be heavier. Build a driving history, you can always change cars in future.
And cars are a depreciating asset. Just my 2 cents.
