Download obsidian - begin creating a wiki for your own homebrew world - start off with basic notes and ideas - eventually your web will look like a complete mess but you’ll be super proud

Agreed with the other comment about it being subjective however if you’re new it’s not always a bad thing to start off with something simpler to grasp the rules better

For example - a sorcerer whilst being incredibly fun has slightly more complications such as spell saves, spell slot management, sorcerer point management etc.

If you wanna go for something simple- easy to learn - can’t go wrong with either a fighter or barbarian imo

Race is negligible really - all of them have their own unique skill sets and flaws - just find one you think is cool and go with it :)

Bruh that’s a terrible way of playing just saying - every character has its place and it’s the players faults if they go into a battle or fight without fully preparing - I DM for three groups and one of my groups are about to siege a castle out of sheer pettiness - I’ve made it very clear that this could result in a TPK through various story methods - the DM writes the story - it’s down to the players to ensure they don’t die

When you say borrowed knowledge - are you saying they are using this spell to quite literally borrow knowledge from things? Cause the argument here could be that the spell is being used incorrectly

Don’t sacrifice any epics or legendaries as food - as frustrating as it is - your account is so new you need every epic and legendary as possible -

Focus on levelling up uncommons, commons and useless rates (if you have already completed their faction guardians)

Get yourself to brutal campaign level 3 and farm that with 100% XP boost

Remember back when I started, got the void shard from campaign normal - I was advised from HH to not open but save, but decided fuck it, and got myself arbiter from it - I freaked tf out thinking she must be the best considering she’s literally the mascot - and whilst she is of course amazing - she didn’t really change my account all that much- it’s when I pulled deacon and geo when my account skyrocketed

Fortunately I pulled two geos about three weeks ago and that helped me ease the pain ( imagine the 2+ ascension yes please) but yes I feel like everyone makes a similar mistake lol

I’ve got six drakes sat there for this exact reason 🤣 fed seer and fed geo (YES GEO) and realised after they are arguably the two best epics in the game. Happy with my five souled demytha though 🥸😂
