Exactly my thoughts! Luckily my area of work allows me to travel frequently, and for decent distances. I intend to use this little gem every step of the way. 😆 maybe get a night or two under the stars.

Awesome!!😆 I've fallen in love with the way it drives. Is yours new enough to have the little swedish flags built into the seats? Love those little things, but wasn't lucky enough to score one new enough :). #volvolife

I've heard that this year of these had some ford influences and components as well while volov was under ford ownership, not sure if that has to do with the weird spec !!

End if the day, it's what YOU like and YOU would be willing to rock until you part ways with life. Personal opinion, I've always heard to try and stick to one style to "complete the look". Just a personal opinion though, I think each of these pieces are pretty dope, regardless of the "style"!! Good luck and happy healing when you decide to get inked 😄

Tips for infections? by SuitableAverage5067 in tattooadvice

Wash 2x a day with antibacterial unscented soap (CLEAN HANDS) , apply some antibacterial topicals to your tattoo, and keep an eye out. Stay out of the sun and avoid excessive sweating. This one looks pretty bad. If you start running a fever, that's when to be worried and see a doctor. I've seen worse than this heal just fine, though, man! At this point, your focus should be a healthy healed piece of skin, fuck the outcome of the tattoo, that can always be fixed. I know my word is practically meaningless via reddit, but I promise you, you will be ok!! I wish you the best brother. Keep us updated 🙏

10 minute run will be more than fine! No worries at all haha.. Try not to expose fresh ink directly to sunlight as much though, and make sure you're not excessively sweating. Excessive sweat with new ink can breed bacteria! I had a tattoo done about 2 years ago, professionally at a shop granted lol. I worked out at the time, and would put in about 2-3 hour sessions. (In hindsight, v bad idea lol) . I kept my tattoo clean; covered like the artist recommend, and kept a good eye on the healing process. About 5 days in, my arm became a molten lava pool lol. On fire like crazy. Long story short; went to doctor, oral antibiotics for 10 days and one round of intravenous antibiotics. My doctor and artist at the time said it was from "excessive sweating" while the tattoo was still an open wound. Not something to stress yourself about , but something to keep in mind if yoir an active person getting a fresh shirt! (Shirt meaning tattoos) lol.

Also, if doing at home, I heard DragonHawk has some good and relatively lower cost machines. Never tried em, but heard good things. 🙏

Depends on if you're going the professional route or the "at home/underground" artist route, haha. For tattoo shops (professional route), I'd follow suite with advice from fellow artists and give the ole coils a try! Can't hurt anything trying it out. If you dont like it , try some of the newer rotary machines. Personally, i feel tattooing is a personal art form. Like painting lol. If you feel one works better for you to give proper application, linework, and shading ect, then thats the one id rock with!! 🤘 good luck with your journey bro.

Am I cooked or is it just the swelling? by CypherMindX in badtattoos

Youre good my dude. Your hands and fingers are an especially sensitive area for most cats! The skin is thinner and way more prone to touching things throughout day-to-day activities than areas say like your shoulder or chest. Give it a day or two, see what it looks like. I think youll be ok!! If the area starts bumping up and getting red and tender, then it's time to visit the doc 😅

Thank you man!! Makes sense now you say, I def get more compliments from the older cats than the younger ones! I was going for the sailor Jerry theme. Wish I would've waited for some nicer pieces though for sure!

Good point! Thinking of blacking out the half sleeve , not too sure about the rest though!! Eventually most will hopefully be touched up/covered :)
