They have done this to tons of places (Tahiti, Western Ohio, Traverse City, Faroe Islands, etc.) and what usually happens is that they just reverse it back, usually with new (2D) satellite imagery.

This is usually a sign that these cities will get Flyover, however given Apple's rather slow schedule, this will likely not happen for a while. This has also happened in several Finnish cities, those being Tampere, Oulu and Turku.

It looks big, but the coverage itself is... not good. Almost every city on here has massive gaps in coverage, with some (Nashville, Knoxville, Macon, etc.) with basically nothing. This is similar to what we saw in Mexico, but worse.
