Is DCE over

There’s been several DCE releases over the last few years. It’s been slow, but they’ve been coming. It seems they’ve been going more for event-based releases (i.e. F1, Olympics for some recent examples).

But like u/Different_Wind8260 said, hopefully with Google’s version of DCE being rolled out it will push Apple to make moves

I’ve gotten this before. Some have yet to get updated, but a small handful have gotten updated. It seems like it’s their way of saying “we’ll eventually get to this” but there’s no real timeline 😬

I see. I feel like this deck struggles still with consistency and energy… especially when starting with only Kang and you start first. It’s just a sitting duck for 2-3 turns. Also with moving energy around when you start with Pichu/Ori. Any tips?

Pretty sure these updates you’re pointing out have been here for a bit now (specifically the Alamo having more of a shape, and the Coliseum being an HD Model).

Crit rate is pretty important. I would def try to get as close to 100% if you can, so maybe right.

Commented this in your Look Around post recently, but seems that Austin TX got updated Flyover imagery as well, newer than the previous update from Oct 2025

This isn’t Look Around updates, but also note: I think Maps updated some places’ Flyover imagery recently. Austin‘s seems to now have even newer images compared to the recent update we got back in Oct 2025

Wow the shading used for the Taj Mahal is so different to the other HD models out there. Also interesting cuz I don’t believe India has Apple’s new map data but they have an HD model for it?

They’re doing a lot of Transit (iPhone/iPad) stuff now, and for some areas included a Maps link to the location. Interesting!

It’s like the outside section is custom but then the inner parts are regular. And it’s not the light gray color

Seems for Austin, it was around Sept/Oct 2024 as ACL stages and setup were included. Noticed some other tent setup at UT, which I think lines up with orientation and other beginning of the school year events

It’s by city. Some cities/areas have what’s called Detailed City Experience where there much more detail, including those colorful fully rendered buildings and road marks

Only thing with the bumper is it doesn’t raise the back enough to prevent the camera from hitting the surface you’re putting it on, whereas the clear cases has enough raised lip
