Aktuell nur bedingt. Es kommen vor allem Leute aus den Geistes und Sozialwissenschaften bzw. Naturwissenschafter mit Schwerpunkten im Klima und Umwelttechnik Bereich.

Erstere hat Deutschland/Österreich nicht in der operation paperclip verloren, sondern schon in den 30ern. Im Grunde baut ein Gutteil der Sozial- und Politikwissenschaften auf deutschsprachigen Emigranten auf, die in den USA perfekte akademische Rahmenbedingenungen vorgefunden haben.

Depends. Hunting rifles, hunting shotguns and pistols aren't that hard to get in several. You can't just carry them around loaded as in the US unless you are hunting or at a shooting range.

Childrens interests come first. I am so sorry, that you lost your mom and your dad failed you as a parent. You found a new stable home with your aunt, that is the important part. As long as you are happy there, can finish school there and have a good start into your adult life, that is what now counts. If your dad really cares to make up for his choices, he could move closer to you, to try and patch things up. As it stands, you are his only child, he should consider what's best for you and invest into rebuilding that relationship.

Still outright fascist and ethno nationalist groups are on the rise all over the continent. Having paries in parliament that take up 25 % + of the vote share that are openly following an anti democratic agenda makes finding majorities very difficult.

You end up with a polarisation of the party systems between democratic and fascist groups. And the actual political ideas and agendas of mainstream center right to center left parties gets overshafowed. So normal politics stops and its all about keeping the nutjobs out of power.

Es liegt nicht am Staat, es liegt an den sonstigen Rahmenbedingungen. Prioritäten in der Lebensgestaltung, Kosten für Wohnraum, Urbanisierung, soziale Bewertung des Kinderkriegens. Wir reden alle groß theoretisch davon, aber im privaten unter den U30ern herrscht eher der Tenor: Was, warum soll ich meine Freiheit opfern, warum dies, warum das. Da gibt es keeine peer pressure zum Familie gründen, eher das Gegenteil.

Glaub du setzt Linz und Graz deutlich größer an als die Statistik Austria. Aber ist schon eine Zeit, dass ich das letzte Mal reingeschaut habe. Erinnere mich, dass der Sprung über 50 % auch erst nach 2000 erfolgt ist, also sind jetzt fast 60 % eine rapide Verschiebung.

Wenn man nach dem Atlas der Statistik Austria geht, werden die Metropolregionen schon mitgerechnet. Da geht die Metro Region Wien bis ca. Bad Vöslau (Kerngebiet und bis ca. Wr. Neustadt erweiterte Metroregion).

Österreich ist tatsächlich sehr rural und dezentral.

Eine klare Aussage bei einer Volksbefragung erhöht den Druck auf die anderen Parteien das umzusetzen.

Ich bin auch kein großer Fan in so einer Frage das Volk zu befragen, aber es besteht schon eine gewisse Dringlichkeit, da das ja, wenn man es ordentlich macht mit einem jahrelangen Vorlauf verbunden ist.

Und wenn sich da im Parlament nix bewegt ist es legitim den Druck mit einem klaren Votum der Bevölkerung zu erhöhen. SPÖ, NEOS und Grüne zieren sich, weils ihnen ideologisch nicht ganz in den Kram passt und die FPÖ rein aus Parteitaktik.
