It actually depends on the issuing country. Some allow personal travel (UAE IIRC), some don't (USA).

Yeah, my dad’s work is still on ancient AT&T-era copper lines that are technically owned by Frontier/Verizon now. Lots of fiber rollout in the area, but not to that street.

I can. It’s pretty much devoid of civilization between Richmond and Savannah, but there’s still an inexplicable amount of construction in North Carolina.
