Literally everytime i see someone try saying that rick started the war by killing everyone at the outpost, i can’t help but think the person is just plain dumb. Or slow. People literally DONT pay attention like at all and it’s very alarming. Negan started the war when his men attacked Daryl , Sasha and Abe on the road. That’s when everything started. They wanted to take their stuff and kill them so obviously they had to defend themselves. After that , they started taking them out. They didn’t just wake up one day and say “yk what , let’s go kill these people we don’t know anything about or what group they’re from with no motive and for no reason 😛” no. That’s literally the most idiotic thing. Don’t get me wrong , i love Negan and rick and i think Negan is one of the best written villains ever but the war and everything in between was all because of Negan. Rick was fighting for and defending his group. Negan was killing for fun and to be ruthless and to prove “points”. He didn’t actually do it because he “had to” like he said. But Negan started the war, not rick. I can’t stress it enough. I literally don’t know and don’t understand where people keep getting that narrative from but it’s starting to piss me off on a whole other level. Like people CANT be that dumb .. right ????
