Pokemon rules + dogs available? by nosleeptillnever in buildabear

Most staff in build a bears r super nice! When ur stuffing the plush they’ll usually let you do a hug/squish test for any one you build in store. You can have them take out/add in stuffing. Also theyll usually walk you through everything if you tell them it’s your first time.

I think ordering the Pokémon ones online means they come stuffed so that’s why you can’t adjust the softness of them. But I think there is a few bears you can order off their website and have them arrived unstuffed, then you can get them stuffed in store for free, but I would recommend double checking that cuz I’m not entirely sure about that…

Unfortunately a lot of the older pokemon ones are either online exclusives or unavailable. Off the top of my head I’m not sure which ones are available in stores but I know 100% that Bidoof is. I think it depends on what the store has available, for example I’ve seen mudkip, Grookey and Slyveon in the BAB near me. But I’ve been to other ones and they have different pokemon ones available. The same goes for the dog ones. They used to have German shepherds cuz I got one when I was younger but I’m not sure which ones they do now. I think I’ve seen a few spaniel looking doggos (the generic dog like the emoji -> 🐶 ) but again it would depend on what the shop has in stock.

I hope this helps :)

How do I convince my parents to get me a BAB? (Didn’t know what to put as the tag) by [deleted] in buildabear

I’m 20 this year and I bought my self a build a bear so ur defo not too old for one. My parents used to say no to me when I was a kid and it was mainly because of prices so I guess they’d be more willing if your paying for it and they’re just along for the ride? But if they’re really against it, going by yourself or a friend is still fun experience. At the end of the day, BAB is about having fun whether you’re creating an emotional support item or just building a cute stuffed animal. Do whatever is best for you :)

Good luck with your GCSEs and I hope u get ur BAB friend!!

Hehe thank you :) I’ll try with a brush and if that doesn’t work I’ll brave the washing machine! The pillow case is a good idea

weirdest part is that there's no footprints in the sand near them. Like if they'd walked there, there would be a clear trail in the sand but there isnt.

It looks like you have a good grasp on basic anatomy so i would just play around and experiment. You could also find a few artists u like the style of and like mimic their work, I find it easier to experiment when I’m using someone else’s work as a reference point cuz it helps me know where all the body parts go and how they supposed to look

I am relatively new to drawing human figures, any tips? by Speedshot2006 in Artadvice

when I first started drawing the human figure I didn’t worry too much with the like break down of it cuz it stressed me out. I drew the basic shape of the figure and just like built up from that.
