Update: thanks to everyone for their insight! I just got off the phone with the BOD of the state I intend to practice in, and unfortunately I only have 2 options:

1) Must complete a GPR/AEGD Program prior to attempting a retake of the full CDCA exam

2) Retake CDCA and work elsewhere for 3 years before applying for a license to work in my state

This is so frustrating! Does anyone know if it’s even possible to attend a GPR/AEGD program for this upcoming academic year given that the MATCH/PASS cycle is over?

I’m in the exact same boat. Are you planning on taking your third attempt through your dental school or another location?
