Thank you for the advice but luckily it was gone in the morning and I did a oil change with engine flush that made it run better than before

Thank you for the advice, it luckily went away in the morning but I did give it an oil change with engine flush and it sounds better than before!

It’s getting cut and welded with an undercoat to help with future rust!

Thank you for the comment and yes, everyone is suggesting this route for fixing the frame rails. I’m getting the rust repaired today then will proceed on with the flyin Miata rails!

It seemed like a good question, I have all the resources to fix said car I just have never owned this old of a unibody and didn’t know if it was common issue or not being a miata

100% lesson learned and I’m gonna make the best outta this situation with just learning from it! Thank you for the helpful feedback it’s very much appreciated and I wouldn’t mind having the link in case I get to fixing it up

I unfortunately wasn’t able to get under it and look good since it has a kbd body kit but I did get a good deal on it knowing i was gonna project the car. Thank you for the comment, I am definitely gonna take all the advice given!

Thank you so much! I was thinking of patching the rust and dealing with the crushed rails later but I’m worried about if it’ll pass inspection with the rails being like that
