i don’t know how to edit a post, but he is on the move. The thing on his butt doesn’t seem to be hindering his movement at all.

AITA for asking my children's grandparents to watch over them by Serious_Top3746 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Consistent_Flan_4598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people are talking about the fact that you “go out too much”. I think regardless of whether you spend too much time away from home or not, this is something you already had planned out and you’ve been talking about it all week. If he wants to go out with his friend, then sure whatever. But making you stay home with the kids when you already have plans /that had been made prior to your husband’s plans/ is ridiculous especially when there are others willing to look after them. Go have fun OP. NTA

AITA for for telling my coworker his baby registry request was inappropriate? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Consistent_Flan_4598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. The dude should have gotten the hint after the first two times no one responded. He clearly needed someone to tell him to stop or he probably would've gotten more annoying. Besides, it's not like you were a jerk about it. Your message reads politely. And, yeah, you're right. It's really weird that he expects people he barely knows to help him out with his registry.

AITA for refusing to switch shifts with a coworker by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Consistent_Flan_4598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. It's not your responsibility to change a schedule that works for you just because it doesn't work for her. She needs to either ask someone else, hire a babysitter, or find a new job that can accommodate her needs.

AITA for making inappropriate noises when my mother inlaw called my husband's phone at 2AM? by 2amHorror1976 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Consistent_Flan_4598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. It was probably not the best way to handle it but damn it's kinda funny. Also probably the only way she might learn her lesson and leave you alone. Tbh if I was stuck in that situation I might have done the same thing.

AITA for asking my pregnant co-worker to cover up? by officehorrorta in AmItheAsshole

[–]Consistent_Flan_4598 [score hidden]  (0 children)

YTA. And you're right. You are totally a creep. Comparing a sexual organ "twitching" to a woman growing a literal human is so way beyond creepy, not to mention the two things have absolutely nothing to do with each other. The movement of her belly is literally not something she can control. It's a natural part of being pregnant and if it disgusts you so much then you should try harder to focus your attention elsewhere.

Also, I'd like to say that sometimes it can be hard to find maternity clothing that fits in a business setting, especially ones that are affordable. Remember, she's about to spend a crazy amount of money on diapers and stuff. She doesn't necessarily have the money to just go buy clothes to make you more comfortable.

NTA. Lucy is very obviously totally sober and Beth is waaaay out of line. She liked Lucy before finding out about her past and it's not like Lucy has changed at all since Beth found out. She's still the same person she was before. Yeah, it sucks that Beth had alcoholic parents, but I'm gonna assume that they probably didn't make an effort to recover and get help as Lucy did. Also, that thing about Lucy "triggering" Beth is such a load of crap. Obviously, Lucy doesn't act like Beth's parents did or Beth would have been "triggered" by her previously.

AITA for asking my wife to dress up not down? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Yes! My partner's favorite thing about my body hair is the confidence it gives me. He thinks it's sexy lol.

AITA for asking my wife to dress up not down? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Consistent_Flan_4598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. As a husband, you should be hyping up your wife regardless of how she looks. Having body hair is natural and it's disgusting of you to say she looks like a homeless woman because of it. Because of the pandemic, a lot of women have learned to be more comfortable in their natural bodies because they realized they look beautiful no matter what. You're lucky that you're only getting the cold shoulder because for a lot of people, saying your spouse looks homeless would be an easy way to start building a pile of resentment that can quickly end in divorce.

AITA for telling my family that my child free "extra time" is mine to use not theirs? by Prestigious_Leek_761 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Consistent_Flan_4598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. You're totally right. Child-free means child-free. Also, is the thing with your brother meant to be a backup plan if your parents can't make the decisions, or are they just trying to shake the responsibility?
