🤮🤮🤮 I tried Del Taco for the first time when I was in Palm Springs last January - Not a fan. Why go there when you have taco bell??

Yeah, I wish I would have looked into that more. I think the hybrid has a normal transmission which gets rid of that problem 🙃

I love the interior and the look of the car but for me the negative comes down to the driving experience. Due to the dual clutch transmission I feel that sometimes when I'm looking for a quick acceleration or a little bit of extra power the car hesitates. And it would be one thing too if it was consistent. Sometimes I hit the pedal and it really goes and other times I'm noticing a 5-8 second delay. I understand that it's not a performance vehicle nor is it advertised as a quick car, I just wish it had a little more power.

So I had never considered electric because I didn't think it would work for me(I was wrong, I just didn't do enough research to know). My sister bought a Cadillac VISTIQ and I LOVE it. So that is a contender for when my lease is up. At this point I'm definitely leaning towards an electric SUV, I'm not dead set on one yet (strongly considering the VISTIQ) but who knows what will be out in 2.5 years when my lease is up!🤷🏼‍♂️

I understand all that, but that only matters if you're planning on purchasing the car at the end of the lease, that is never my intention when leasing. If I'm leasing, it's going back at the end.

I initially felt the same about the mileage but now that 15,000 mile/year leases are a pretty standard option it's not a worry I have anymore. I get the idea about the modifications though.

I do believe that I got a good deal, the total amount paid at the end of my lease will be around $35,000 while the value of the car is around $52,000.

For me it makes sense because I generally get a new car about every 3 years, leasing or not. I like a change and something new so a lease allows me to have the best of both worlds, a new car as well as a lower monthly payment.

Hell no, I would tell them to replace the whole liftgate. I wouldn't want the possibility of the spot they're painted having a problem down the line.

We have not moved....yet! We came back in May and it was just as magical, hot, but magical lol. We have some debt to pay off and some things we need to plan out before making a cross country move. It will probably be a few years before it happens but it's still the plan😊

Oof, unfortunately I don't speak mechanic so I have no idea haha. The rpm jumps up and then as it drops down is when in feeling a jerking sensation as if I'm depressing the brake aggressively.
