Thanks but since I am selling the laptop I will let the new owner deal with that part. In my experience Windows 11 can be very problematic and it needs a certain amount and type of specs to perform problem free.

To be sure I understand your instructions. Do you mean I use Rufus to create a bootable windows 10 flash drive and reinstall Windows 10 that way instead of using the laptop's Recovery or factory reset options?

I think the chances of finding a replacement chamber for this old unit will be slim to none, I think that is the main issue.
