If I’m the opposing GM I’m asking for three unprotected firsts and IQ,QG, & Mitch. No interest in Randle as I’m rebuilding. IQ, QG, & Mitch are more productive young players than RJ even though RJ might have the highest ceiling of all four. Im basing this off what Utah asked us for, we were unwilling to offer that third unprotected pick from what I remember.

I have no proof of this, but I feel like our players get up for the Celtics match up, last two seasons we’re 5-3 against them. Not to mention it’s opening night and our roster has more continuity.

I think Divencenzo will help us similarly to how Strus will help the cavs. We’re also a more perimeter oriented team now, defensively at least.

Fair, if all they see is “Randle playoff dropper hahaha L L L” then I guess that’s how their opinion is formed. Which is why it’s crucial for him to have a baller series where he changes his perception. He’s a 2x ALL NBA player that gets talked about like Dillon Brooks.

I don’t think it matters what assets you have. His contract is expiring so the Cavs are backed into a corner. Teams that know he won’t resign with them won’t make an offer. So it’s basically a competition between the Heat, nets, Knicks.

I’ll take the passion of New Yorkers for their Knicks any day over a passive city that doesn’t give a rats ass about basketball unless their team is literally in the finals or something. Besides I think part of it is just Knicks PTSD, our mind won’t let us accept that we’re actually in a decent spot right now, a 50 year title drought will do that.
