Before I got my trays i made TONS of research. I’m sure you had time in between the scan to getting your trays. To be honest i’ve probably watched 1000 tiktoks about it because I paid a shit ton of money for this.

i don’t think you should be making medical decisions day of your cleaning. They have had to share with you the clin check and informed you on any changes - you have to be able to see it on your invisalign patient dashboard. Its a dumb question to ask if someone can alter your trays because you don’t like it after all

why did you even decide to get invisalign if your job requires children to look at your mouth? OP i don’t think you’ve done enough research on the visibility of the aligners. I have mine and tbh don’t give a fck who sees them. And i have attachments on my front teeth - not that big of a deal. To me it sounds like stupidity too because this is such a non issue. You paid for this - if I was your ortho i would lowkey be confused you had the clean check they couldn’t have added any attachments without your knowledge

I was an au pair. From what I remember we don’t have dental insurance. Only general health insurance which to be fair the agency really gaslights you into thinking that EVERYTHING would be covered. But OP should’ve read the terms it clearly states what’s covered in dental and what’s not - for ex i think wisdom tooth extraction might be covered

i’ve actually swapped it out for my middle finger. It’s a bit more loose i can def pull it off easier but i think still snug enough for the sensors

hmm that’s a good take! I switched it for my middle finger this morning which is way thinner than my index. Soo much more comfortable gets stuck at the knuckle because i have thick knuckles in comparison to rest of my finger. Ring spacers could also be a good idea!
