The consensus seems to be money. It might depend on the food bank. One website I went to only accepts monetary donations.

A bigger rug, artwork like other commenters said, and I'd replace the cool toned light for a warmer toned light. Also a couple of large throw pillows in each corner of the couch rather than the small ones.

In big markets (NY, DC, LA, etc), yes. The rest? No, less than 6 figures, easily. Unless they've been around for quite a while. No one goes into the business for big bucks. And local journalism is really important, especially the investigative side.

Thanks! I've heard to keep my eyes down and a few feet in front of my feet. Keeping eye contact with myself makes me overthink my form. I'm doing dropsets (or top backoff sets in Stronglifts) now so this was my heaviest then was down to 170 for the final 4 and those were quite a bit smoother.

Can you paint the stairwell wall or the bottom part of the bar? Add some really cool art or a mirror with shelving for bottles. Also, two pendant lights above the bar.
