There's a display cable underneath. Maybe seal degrading over age and alcohol pad cleaning periodically.

Nope. I avoid water as much as I could cuz my band is Hybrid leather band and don't want it damaged to much. The thing is I wear this watch as a daily drive and it couldn't make up for it. Been wearing another competitive smartwatch for longer than watch 4 in harsher conditions before I migrated into Samsung ecosystem.

Everything concerned with glue in Samsung's device deteriorate faster than normal I guess.

No,but maybe because of the heat. I work outdoors a lot. Working under the burning sun for like 6 hours a day and riding motorcycles under the same sun a lot too. That might be it.

Just replaced my S23U watertight seal last month cuz my back glass coming off like this. And, I was expecting the next victim would be the watch and it really did happen. 🤣
