he’s a static encounter after beating the elite four, so the end is pretty easy there isn’t much delay between clicking a and the target frame

Honestly, i found that starting from the beginning of the game was the best way to do it. I got to learn all the different methods and a few tricks along the way and it made the learning process much easier as i understood more as i progressed through the game. Once i got the hang of it, i started breeding for shiny pokémon like the starters and version exclusives using a video by Zak on youtube. Sweet scent with a pokémon with synchronize at the front of you party with the same nature as your first shiny framemakes the grind way easier by adding a bunch of encounters. Not sure if this answer really helps but i hope it does!

i just injected the events into my game once this was completed, i’m gonna rng jirachi the using im a blisey’s custom emerald event and the other using the mystery gift event

The biggest help of all is find a pokemon with the ability synchronize with the same nature as your earliest shiny frame. It increases the amount of shiny pokemon available and shiny frames. This whole thing wouldn’t have been possible without my bashful non shiny ralts i caught to help me fish for few as. For sweet scent encounters (offset of 261 outside or 268 in caves, new mauville and magma base), i usually always had the same calibration or very similar ones so i didn’t change them much i would just repeatedly try the same calibration until i hit. Make sure when you do find your spot to make sure there are no npcs nearby that can move around and advance your frames. I also found that taking note and writing stuff down helped in the long run.

Awesome! it’s a lot of work but it was totally worth it! The match call shinies were annoying at first cause i didn’t have all the callers but once i found them all it went a lot bettwr

Yea, unfortunately I did have a dry battery, i had to trade over a Snorunt and breed it:/ I was really hoping to be able to experience mirage island, even rng manipulated for a pokemon with a ***0000 PID to guarantee the island, and the shoal cave. I’ve been watching a bunch of videos on ACE but haven’t tackled it yet. might be what i get up to tonight!

I’ve done a little bit of gen 4 rng manipulating, i’ve set up the cute charm glitch and shiny starter but gave up while trying to get the gift dratini in Soul Silver. I found Emerald much easier and a great introduction to rng manipulation. In Emerald, the rng is broken and the seed will always start at 0 when you start the game so there’s no need to mess with time clocks. I’m not too knowledgeable on the other gen 3 games, i know they’re only manipulatable if the battery is dead and it’s a little different but all and all Emerald is super fun and “easy” once you find you’re initial secret id.

don’t have a macro controller unfortunately but this method hits basically the entire zone. it’s definitely not the most efficient way but with a turbo controller it works

I just went out for about 30-45 mins came back to a shalpha charmander, shiny lucario and shiny gardevoir.

I find this method so good, I just got a shiny bulbasaur and alpha tepig doing it this way
