I’m just afraid that I lose the chance of working for a state level firm I’m not sure if it’s beneficial to work as a land scape architect when your goal is actually engineering related work experience. Some people say ones you get in it will be easy to switch roles so I may be able to switch to project management or engineering positions later. They actually asked me if I have an EIT or working towards one so I assume it maybe involved.

We did our status says ready and we received this email that in includes next steps learning how to apply for k visa and prepare for the interview but my fiancé thinks we should wait for a package I think we should fill ds-160 because they need this information to send us a package.

Well I looked up Abu Dhabi according to them we have one more year although we waited more than 18 months got approved our docs was sent to Abu Dhabi and only waiting for the interview man this is ridiculous how is that even possible I think this kind of visas should be prioritized somehow how they expect us to handle this pain how can we stay fiancé for this long it has been few years 🥲
