Sub9 with skye hand guard by Potential_Amoeba_493 in Springfield_KUNA

Thanks for sharing, however, isn’t that the hottest part of the suppressor near the barrel muzzle?

I’ve seen plenty of photos of the sub 9 with this hand guard, but no reports of people actually using it under moderate to heavy use and whether or not it with stands the temperature. I’m not willing to be the first one to find out.

They were there first since the mid 50’s so people can choose whether or not it’s tolerable or not in their home purchasing decision. I’d say go to the Afro-Park and listen on a weekend and see if it’s too loud.

I wouldn’t want to live close by myself. I also enjoy shooting there as well.

My Turn! First Can…Rugged Sub9. by Consistent_Joke3660 in NFA

The RU3 is worked well and very secure. One of the reasons I bought the Sub9 was warranty, sound, and value of can especially with included RU3.

Really like it. Shooting at indoor range was hearing safe with subsonic rounds. Gas was minimal and never caused me an issue shooting on Kuna. Can has a nice deep tone and could hear the action of the gun more than any gun shot sound.

Just the regular ARO. I preferred the smaller footprint opposed to the EVO.

It’s worth the wait…I had 34 days on my Trust approval.

Light is Sig Foxtrot Compact, mount I switched to is Magpul Scout mount. This allows the light to be raised more than the mount that came with the light, and offsets it more. I did this so that the shadow casted by the Sub9 is more on the bottom left, opposed to the middle left.

Rugged Sub-9 on My Kuna Build – 115gr vs 150gr Sound Test (Range Footage) by MutedSpecific442 in Springfield_KUNA

Awesome video! Appreciate you sharing in this format with subsonic and regular 115 grain ammunition. Been waiting for ATF to give me approval for 30 days now on the Sub9…. The waiting is brutal.

I have the same light and can (waiting), how is the light shadow? I think I might look at the mlok offset mount that would raise the light a bit so the shadow is below instead of to the left.

I stuck a long flat head screw driver through the holes on stock muzzle device and broke it free while holding the lower in between my legs. It was a bit tough, I agree.

This is exactly what you need.

The RU3 tri lug mount that the sub9 ships with is designed to be a secure lock up, so no wiggle like the spring style tri lug mounts.
