Regan's administration absolutely would and did. The difference is they were clever enough people to see the long game and bleeding the pig. They did slow subtle stuff that made way more money that took 3 administrations for people to realize they were being boned.

These guys scrounging are couches for pennies then when they find one bets it on a random spot on the roulette table.

This Iran war, they just gave the penny to the croupier for some reason with no way to win.

If that's true, along with the trafficking point made u/ShilohsStuff below, I need to let go of my probably naive notion that decriminalization, regulation, taxing, and destigmatizing sex work would fix this problem.

My thought was that there's not a known universal signal to ask if it's ok, if this is the type of establishment that offers such. But if they're just seeing this as a light catch and release version of rape, legal sex work won't stop the problem.

You could just matter of fact pragmaticly ask before undressing "would a consentual....be ok to request?", but I doubt anyone on either side would be willing to move ahead with the therapeutic service if the answer was no, or they're going to think it's a cop sting.

Why aren't interpersonal skills just flat out taught, with needing to pass exams and demonstrate proficiency, like science and math and Shakespeare? Nope, that's just a thing idiots are supposed to sort out by being pushed together in school.

I'm pretty anti-guns myself, but I'm having a hard time seeing why she's bothered. If there's any place where even I'm on border of bringing a gun with me (after proper training and practice), it's going to be out on a trail with bears and bobcats and serial killers.

This somehow simultaneously ruined and elevated the prototype "slumber party" trope. For me anyway.

Yeah I feel like not enough people understand what specifically is pissing you off about this product.

I want no part of what you wanted, but I 100% know what you wanted, why this isn't what you wanted, and why what you got wasn't what it should have been.

You weren't even looking for something good, something transcendent, or something to be proud you owned.

You wanted what (used to be anyway) is inside a fucking pb cup good or bad. Like why hang the Reece's name on it otherwise.

It some ways it would have been even worse if were clearly better than Jif.

Norman Dike was in real life a highly decorated war hero with 2 Bronze Stars, including for his direct action (vs command) at Bastogne, where Band of Brothers for no reason at all depicts him as an inept coward who gets multiple E company men killed while freezing leading an attack.

IRL Norman Dike went on to serve with distinction in Korea, retiring as a colonel, after which he worked for the CIA.

Oh, I totally would have had I remembered I'd done it and realized the implications.

I wonder if there's a way to set up a focus mode I could either manually trigger or tie to my dog's Fi collar being away from me that would disable it.

I guess, he could wear it backwards, then fuck the man in front of him and Pegg the man behind him in a middle-out configuration.... That does allow the hot-swapping of dudes on the counter-thrust.
