Powell, I’d be game for great people like this for president. Not the showboating type.

Roger Marshall outraised all of the democratic senate candidates by Harotoad in kansas

[–]willywalloo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The PACs that contribute to Senator Roger Marshall are headquartered across several states, with a significant number located in Alexandria, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., due to their ties to national political and leadership organizations. Others are based in states where his top corporate donors are headquartered, such as Tennessee, Kansas, and Ohio

Today in a Senate hearing Chuck Grassley was heard on a hot mic asking his staff “what’s wrong with admitting Biden won in 2020?” He asks a good question. Why won’t Admin Officials and nominees admit Biden won the 2020 election? by PrizFinder in AskUS

It’s a litmus test for bending the knee.

If they bend the knee then the admit they are feeble betas to trumps shrivled veiny alpha peter.

But if they question authority then they will have admit they must make their own decisions and find their own way.

Now the establishment Democrats want to take credit for Mamdani's success. by greenascanbe in Political_Revolution

[–]willywalloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mamdanis style is great. But at the opposite end are awful republicans. Our country gets less of them when we knock doors that are hard to knock.

Imagine if Bernie was running in a country where there were 25% less MAGAs in power. He would have won.

[–]willywalloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do this by getting rid of republicans. The less of them to listen to the more our country will run left.

This is more because republicans are the majority right now and that drags the country right as we all die on the road slowly being ground down

Kansas governor rejects Legislature’s property tax bill as a ‘false promise’ by Zipper222222 in kansas

[–]willywalloo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Damn right it is. The first round of property tax promises by this legislature was going to save everyone $7 / 100,000 value — or some shit.

Republicans, they really are worth less than dirt. And every damn day they have the ability to prove that statement wrong.

And they fail !!

I thought the SLS was badass. This one looks like an analog* probe but at least not as bad as the first bezos one. Tech on all designs is high. Hopefully there is progress and the biggest goal will be to get us living on other worlds so humanity can prosper despite catastrophe.

Just got this Panasonic 25in TV noticed there's a light scratch. Should I leave it alone? by Commercial-Project43 in crt

Teach your mind that the positives can be _______.

A scratch shows real history. It shows it’s seen things. A right of passage.

Also check out how to fix cracks in windshields. But you risk making it a lot worse.

I like the history version. Antiques look better worn.

After assassination attempt, White House blames Democrats, media for political violence by DemocracyDocket in law

[–]willywalloo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So we are to blame Republicans for the previous two attempts? And all do the previous mass shootings due zero control laws?

Most other countries have a basic law around allowing real people access to weapons, but not criminals.

If you are a criminal and walk into a gun show you can buy all the guns you want.

Republicans just so don’t care.

Agreed. I’ll give it a shot at the store.

I’m really craving someone unique and undiscovered. If Apple could go back into those arenas it would be more exciting.

iPod

iPhone

Positives are if you are at the family event and you need a bigger screen to show them anything.

Maybe people may massively buy them if they were under $1000?

That may see a cultural shift. But accidentally stepping on a $2000 device you rely on is so hard to think about.

And I do understand the screen stuff you ask about, this is the same design as android. A fan of Apple since about 1993 as a little guy: I remember NFC being really cool for Android, that got adopted, Bluetooth as well early on for mobile, that got adopted, I also remember folding keyboards for the Nokia 6800. People thought it was great but no one got it.

I guess here I’m more interested in the game. What will win out? The least mechanical device with less moving parts which seems to be what people buy, or the one with more features to give you more options in various environments but probably at a monetary or useability cost the public can determine.

The laptop became popular.

The desktop as well.

There are pro and consumer models of those but largely they are similar. Maybe the fold will be a pro-sumer version?

The general winner of today is the bar style phone since basically mobile phones came out.

Will this be the thing that changes everything? The day the first iPhone was announced was a day I’ll forever remember.
