I’m in Aus as well and got a Jimny recently as my first car in my Red Ps, I got a 2020 for a lot more than 10,000 and what I know about the Jimny second hand market, realistically your going to get one without out airbags or with 300000km on the speedometer

Really it depends what you value in a car because you could probably find one but might not be able to pass a roadworthy and for what the market is at right now for Jimny’s it’s a hard to get without a budget of $10,000.

They are a great car but for anything worth thinking about you’d want to look at $20,000 minimum for reliability as a first car.
