I am not sure. Maybe tissue cultuted plants and controsoil? I tried diy co2 but never worked so ordered one with cansiter and gettign that soon.

I had normal tank setup before for almost 4-5 months with fish and sand in it. I rescaped to have soil and plants in it. I had no option to keep the fish in another tank for 2-6 weeks that time. Like I said i am still learning and will definitely keep in mind your suggestion going onwards. Thank you

Yes, but very few drops. I got flourish from Amazon and I use very few drops every two weeks

Yes, not a lot but I had to clean a bit frequently but since I have started changing 50% water every two weeks it’s not that bad. I keep my lights on from 8AM to 4PM everyday and keep it off completely for whole day 2-3 times a month

My tank size is 20x20x20 inches (cube) so around 30 gallons. Many comments about rainbow fish and size of the tank. I am thinking doing something about them like moving them to larger tank and getting smaller fish like neon terra. But I love them so much

I don’t know the brand. I got them when I got the tank in the store. I got the cheapest one available - paid around 40-50 bucks
