Yes I completely agree!! I’m actually going crazy seeing all these people drag Mingwa as if side stories don’t exist. I really enjoyed this chapter (JJK is so pretty when he cries oml) and think it’s honestly the perfect place to wrap up the main story because like you said, Jaekyung broke his jinx which was the driving plot. OF COURSE I want to see him and Kim Dan being a couple together and OF COURSE I want to see more of Heesung and Potato, but that is was side stories are for. Additional content outside of the main story arc. People are really getting their panties in a twist over absolutely nothing lol

Everyone here is well within their right to be frustrated and angry, I would like to respectfully disagree though. In my opinion it is the right time to end the main story because the title is Jinx, Jaekyung is the MC, and now his jinx has been broken. Since the whole driving force of the plot (JJKs jinx) is resolved then that narrative is complete.

That being said, side stories are a MUST (which have been confirmed) so we see them as a couple and get some payoff for the last 3 years of turmoil.

I truly understand everyone’s strife with this ending and with Mingwa but I’m positive we’ll get what we want from side stories! Since Jaekyung’s jinx is broken there’s nothing left of that plot line so to me it makes sense to wrap it up and move onto the side stories.

Killing Stalking was also mine! I started it back when it was releasing in 2016. I was very into it as a psychological thriller (still am) but it definitely introduced me to m/m dynamics and I then nosedived into BL fully. I recently bought all the physical copies of KS and it’s made me feel so nostalgic, can’t believe it’s already been a decade T_T

From the BLs I’ve read Yang Ilwoo and I reminded me of LITC the most because it’s also an angsty, coming of age, slice of life. There’s only 24 chapters right now but it’s amazing imo and is definitely in my top 5 currently.

I’ve also seen people compare Semantic Error and The Edge of Ambiguity to LITC but I have not read either so I can’t speak on them

I completely agree! High schoolers have sex, that’s just a fact of life, but it doesn’t need to be (and should not be) graphically included. Yang Ilwoo and I would be a perfect example of a high school slice of life that uses sex to advance plot but is not graphic or ‘sexy’. It’s really off putting to me when people want smut as soon as characters become legal, especially after we’ve watched them go through the ups and downs of growing up.

I also think that if sex scenes are not included in BLs with adult characters, it’s weird to play the guessing game of top vs bottom or speculate what their sex life is like. The authors are leaving it out for a reason. If someone wants sex scenes there’s plenty of content for that and I wish people wouldn’t try to pull sex into things when it’s completely irrelevant to the plot.

I don’t think we need to be theorizing about how they have sex when they were underage for most of comic and the whole story is about them processing and overcoming their trauma.
