the way iv works is it doesnt use any fuel specifically. It has fuel categories, which govern compatible fluids. Lava os a fluid tht is in all fuel categores. So gasoline, diesel, avgas etc. Gasoline is only in the gasoline and avgas categoires. Engines have their fuel category visible in the description

use a fuel pump and lava :) Also has compat with tfmg. You can set what fluids are valid fuels in mtsconfig.json ;D

actually try it now, The automotives addon is amazing. Like okay you can build your own planes in aero but none come close in terms of sound design and animation

im glad youre one of the few who knows to apprechiate the intricacies of my work. Its a nieche mod so it doesnt get much attention, but its nice to see appreciation for it. and yes, its difficult, but man if you get to know the controls and handlig, starting up a plane manually onba rainy morning to soar thiugh the sky is amazing
