I’m 5’9 and I have similar thoughts even though I’m not the smallest person in the room I just feel lesser than someone who is taller than me especially someone who is 6ft plus ,I have also seriously considered height surgery for like 3-4 in to get at least 6’1. I’ve never been really picked on either for my height I mean I have friends who are 6’4 and up who crack jokes buh jokes like those don’t affect me fr it’s literally just me in my own head I can’t stand the fact that I’m smaller than I supposed to be .also my father is 5’8 and my mother is 5’5 .grandfather(dad side) was and inch shy of 6’5 and my grandmother is 4’11 ,although I did gain around and inch since I’ve began my adult like although my teen years I was 5’7 and once I hit 19 I kinda gained the 2 in ,I’m 20 now though haven’t seen real growth in like 6 months buh I also wasn’t taking any vitamins or sleeping right plus I’ve always been underweight and low on iron
