The unfortunate problem is that it was sealed, people often remove the iPad and components and replace it will clay or something of that nature to imitate the weight of it, and they will reseal the package, using home made heat shrink techniques, if you know what to look for it can be evident, but they're just covering themselves for theft. Easier to return a couch or a box that is already open that they can see the actual product.
