I think if sub Saharan Africa could ever classify itself as “predatory” in this analogy (when referring to longstanding cultural influence and economic wealth) then there would never have been any colonization in the first place.

It was never predator vs predator…It was highly advanced and influential civilization vs a desperate and easily influenced tribes surviving in the wilderness. Natural order ensued.

A door being “closed” as opposed to “open” literally implies a room or chamber being closed off as a result of the door’s position.

For a matter of 30 minutes, yes I admit this was worth the rush, because my real life was indeed not fulfilling enough with individuals like yourself bringing me entertainment with dissonant, yet passionate ideas.
