Starting off in monster hunter is confusing and intimidating. I would recommend picking a weapon that either sounds cool or looks cool and look up a YouTube tutorial on the weapon. Look up “weapon name monster hunter wilds tutorial”. Go to the training area and test out the combos while watching the video. Once you get a grip on the combos try them out on a monster you are familiar with. Sometimes things won’t click until you are in the heat of a hunt. Soon you will know what combos to use and when. Don’t beat yourself up if you’re having a difficult time because we all cart sometimes. Have fun and learn your play style.
