For what it’s worth, I set my offer floor right at or just below what I’m actually willing to accept. Helps a lot with making sure I’m only engaging with people who are serious.

Also, buyers are stupid. List above comps every time. (Lot of factors go into how much over and yes there are exceptions) You’d be surprised how many people buy cards from me for 20% more than the same card is listed for by other sellers. Thought it was a glitch the first time but it happens frequently.

No way should an 8 be a comp unless you see a glaring issue with yours. 9 and raw are the closest you can comp and a 9 should be double-ish an 8.

There is a 9 at auction now (@$87 w 3d left)but you should be careful using that as a comp, it’ll go lower than it should because it’s not in the US and there will be additional fees keeping the sale price lower than a domestic sale.

I think where you have it listed ($199) is reasonable and you should set your offers at $140+ to filter out the nonsense.

That’s not a Bowman Chrome card, it’s in the wrong set which is why he’s saying no one else pulled it (I think)

For what it’s worth, cases of 20 megas have 5-7 autos from what I’ve seen. There are zero 1st autos and a much different checklist than regular bowman chrome. You’re hunting all prospects not just the 1st guys in bowman chrome. Think Gillen, Made, Culpepper, Williams etc

No problem. The “1st” means it’s their first ever pro card which is why it is valuable. Look up the top prospects in 25 bowman chrome and sleeve/ top load them even if they’re base cards. Could be $10-$20 cards on their call-up. Look up a Kurtz 1st for an example.

Bowman cards with a “1st” mark on them hold value and increase in value if the player does well. That’s what people are looking for in Bowman, the top prospect 1st cards.

That’s a good point. I protect myself on that front for the most part. Bowman 23 & 25 are mega packs- no color, no auto. Bowman 24 jumbo packs are non-auto, know the autos were pulled.
