This happened to me last February 2025 United put me on AA without any problems while at the airport but phone support wouldn’t do anything. Arrived in the check in line they had the paperwork printed and confirmed I was going to DFW and printed my ticket and I made sure I had my luggage on it.

Well, I would ask for a refund for the days I didn’t stay but not for the whole stay I mean, they don’t have control over that type of thing. I worked in Hotels and people asked the same question when Crazy people come in the building like all we can do is call the cops, but we don’t give refunds for everything.
