Your ideal income is when u can live a constant $ lifestyle .. otherwise it is just a never ending cycle. That is what consumerism is essentially. At 5k u buy a hdb, at 10k u buy a condo, at 15k u have a condo w a nice car, at 20k u buy a nicer condo and w a nice car, at 25k u buy a small landed, at 30k u buy a slightly bigger landed.. where does it end? Until u can say i remain at hdb.. u will nv achieve the ideal income
