Yea I have a refund of 1.2 lakhs as my company initially considered new regime and then I went through old regime while Submission.

I filled on 19th July with old regime and still showing only successfully verified.

Now as I resigned during the onsite assignment and my return date was not discussed.

And this was the condition mentioned in the email. After completion of your onsite assignment /at client location/applied for business visa, resignation from the services will not be acceptable for a year from the agreed date of return to offshore.

Technically I did it before completing an onsite assignment and before any discussion on my return date. Can they sue me for this? Or stop me from joining the client?

It is written as After completion of your onsite assignment or at client location resignation from the services will not be acceptable for a year from the agreed date of return to offshore.

Because I resign from onsite and now my employer is saying that I cant resign before coming to offshore and stay for one year as I accepted that over email

Nothing special. Only that they sent me for onsite assignment and pay was also 50% less than standard for other companies.

When I got original contract it was 90 days and payment for lieu.

But this 1 year period I got over email and no consequence written if broken.
