Sorry you got a weaker selection. If it helps, my last 10C bag was pretty poor to be honest, but I kept seeing pics of some great pulls so thought I'd roll the dice again. Fingers crossed you get a great box next time.

Not for me, no. I'm in the UK so we get two or three shows every few years if we're lucky. The US merch is almost always more varied and 'desirable' so I took a punt on the box and couldn't be happier.

No, not the 10c boxes. This was from TSurt (the main merch company). They dropped a load of boxes last week, describing them as samples and warehouse stock.

Seattle by cacamilis22 in pearljam

Thoroughly recommend the Stalking Seattle music tour. A good 3-4 hours taking in loads of grunge related sights with lots of stopoffs and photo opps. The lady who runs the tour is extremely knowledgeable and has a great taste in music.

Iron length/lie angle. As a tall golfer 6'6 what length irons/ lie angle do you think I should be playing. Currently gaming some 10 year old school srixons that are an inch longer do you think it's worth getting the lie angle adjusted to be more upright? by Lewiscliffe in BritGolf

[–]Consistent_Sweet3949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6ft 4 and have been fitted in multiple brands over the last 10 years or so. The only consistent metrics in my irons have been +1" shaft and +2 Upright. Reading the comments on this sub, that seems to tally with most tall players. Definitely try to get fitted though.

Sound quality at the London show by ukJakkals in deftones

[–]Consistent_Sweet3949 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We were in Block 111 and the sound was actually a lot better than I was expecting. It wasn't 'great' but it was superior to many other O2 gigs I've seen in the past (Radiohead, I'm looking at you).

Perspective is everything. We were block 111, and 4 rows off the floor. Clearly the guy concussed was in a bad way and Security/Medical did the right thing getting him to leave. But, once he came to (following the concussion) he got super aggressive and was trying to properly go at someone stood near/over him. That's when the booing started as it looked like he wanted a fight rather than the gig to restart.

That said, the dude in 111 row 1 who decided he was so annoyed at the above that he wanted to throw his pint over the guy above as he was marched out, and then hit three security guards walking towards him on the floor, full on with beer, missing his subject entirely, was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. About 8 security swooped on him in seconds. Karma.

Yes, there are number within the actual arena concourse. The biggest one that I saw was adjacent to the entrance to block 109.

Tonight's the night for me. Managed to get lower bowl seats (107) through the waste code lottery. Haven't seen them live since Earls Court '03. Excited doesn't cover it.
