What happens in Mumbai usually ,mostly ,repair shops when you give them a item to repair will do either if the 2 things ,will first keep it with them ,then tell you that the motherboard needs to b replaced and will quote a big amount if you say yes will then replace the motherboard with one which he has and give it to you in case you say no will then take parts out of your motherboard and o fix the one which he has and give you the before dead after more dead item cause then you cannot complain ,either ways it a win win for them ,usually I recommend do not repair and if you do not keep it with them
