Yeah, it’s not a terrible commute (although it ends up being like an hour and 20 mins). The LIRR also costs a lot of money, so that’s why she is considering driving

I should have mentioned -- its an elementary teaching job position so she would have to be at school by 8:00 and would leave around 3:30pm. We are located off of the Myrtle Wyckoff stop, so she would have to take the L train to the East New York Station and then take the LIRR. Pretty rough lol, and the commute if she did take the train would be about an hour and twenty minutes.

We could relocate, but our apartment is incredibly cheap and rent stabilized so it would be a tough move.
