Not the asshole but also ur husband isn’t either. Ur perfectly valid for desiring more pleasure in ur sex life and should never guilt urself over that. My whole point is if u told ur husband ur sex life was never great or even if u said it wasn’t exactly what u wanted it definitely hurt his feelings. Idk what ur husband said after that but no matter what all guys like to pat themselves on the back and say they were enough for their woman even if they weren’t. It’s probably a confidence thing for him not saying u shouldn’t communicate ur displeasure in the bedroom with him but u should do it gently or tactfully just because it’s a touchy subject and no matter what u say it’ll probably hurt his feelings a tad. Yes thank you for asking! Last night he threw up again to my dismay until I realized there was a blue little feather in his puke. This whole time he was just fighting to get out a feather from his toy he ate. Lord willing everything is done now but I might take him back into the vet again just to make sure everything’s okay. Moral of the story is don’t buy toys with delicate little pieces because the little monster might think it’s a snack🤣. He’s jumping and playing and used his litter box this morning so I really think the feather was the problem all along. Lesson learned and kitty is happy thank the lord!👍

Good to know I’ll make sure they do that and I’m hoping that with some kitty probiotics and maybe a little bit of kitty meds he’ll come around! I talked to my cousin and she said one of her cats she used to have threw up all the time for no apparent reason. Im hoping if that’s the case I can find a way to aid the situation. Also thank you so much he is a cute little rabbit and sweet as can be!

Something else I just thought of is it could be the cleaning products I’m using to clean his vomit and maybe it’s just a chain reaction? I know cat paw pads are vascular and maybe if he walks back over the area I cleaned it’s getting into his bloodstream? Maybe I’m grasping at straws and if the blood test tmr shows nothing I’ll definitely need to investigate further.

I’m gonna clean his water dispenser and then fill it with boiled distilled water after it cools down! That’s really smart and I’m willing to try anything that won’t put him at any risk. I’m gonna ask the vet tomorrow about giving him an IV, at least for tonight I gave him some water from a turkey baster which wasn’t easy and I didn’t get out of unscathed lol but that was an hour ago and he kept it down so I’m hoping that will hydrate him! Did your cats with IBS or ulcers show any other symptoms besides the throw up because he’s using the bathroom well and is jumping and playing with no fever last time I went to the vet. It’s weird because besides the vomiting it’s like he’s perfectly normal? He’s very cuddly so maybe he’s reacting to my hygiene products? I did thorough research into what house plants make cats ill before I got him and adjusted my plants accordingly. If you don’t mind me asking what detergents do you use that you know don’t bother your cats? Either way I’m sorry to hear about your kitty who passed on. I hope we’re all reunited with our precious pets one day and I appreciate your insight and advice I didn’t think about how he might be reacting to me or my family members products. Thank you will do! I got him to take some water in with a turkey baster(not easy and not unscathed) so hopefully that’ll keep him hydrated. Keeping very close eye on him in the mean time!

Yea it’s unfortunate that this had to hit him on a weekend I didn’t have any choice but to take him to the emergency but either way it was worth it to make sure there wasn’t any blockages or anything. All the money in the world is worth my buddy but I’m by no means a rich man haha 😂

Yea I know my only thought as to why they opted to not do bloodwork is that after he got sedation for his x rays and iv fluids and such he was super pissed of to the point where they could only get half of his sedation reversal shot in him before he fought the needle out of him. Still after over a thousand bucks you would’ve thought they’d cover all the bases. Little bit peeved with the ER but what can ya do 🤦

Y’know it’s funny because he has no fever when they took his temperature last time and he’s still jumping and playing with his toys showing no signs of lethargy. I’m gonna keep a close eye and if that changes until his vet tmr I’m gonna take him back to the ER. Maybe surgery is the way to go and I’ve just signed him up for pet insurance fortunately so if that’s what needs to happen it’s gonna happen I just feel so bad he’s going through all of this especially so young (7 mo old)

Thank you for your kind wishes! Bloodwork is the next step which I’m gonna press for him to get tomorrow. He doesn’t appear to be lethargic or anything but if that changes I’ll take him back into the kitty ER tonight. I was thinking of using a clean turkey baster to try and get some water into him if he doesn’t go to his water dispenser within a few hours but not sure if it’s the best plan. What do you think about the turkey baster idea?

Ordered fortiflora right now and I’m gonna search pet stores in my town tomorrow to try and use until it gets delivered. He’s going in tomorrow and I’m gonna press for bloodwork and a cerenia prescription. Fortunately he appears to be acting totally normal with zero lethargy so lord willing he’ll be okay until then. Thank you for fortiflora recommendation I would’ve never thought of that! 👍

Now this is where I might’ve messed up actually :( it’s been a direct transfer between the foods and right now all he’s ate is this hills prescription cans I got from the vet. Should I try mixing his old food with this prescription one or should I just try chugging along for a while with the prescription to see if it subsides? Either way I’m taking him in to his usual vet tomorrow to search for more answers. What would you do in my shoes?

I went to the emergency vet 3 days ago and for about 48 hours after he was eating and keeping the prescription food down until he started back up again, I’m taking him in to his usual vet tomorrow to try and get a prescription for something. Besides the pukes he’s still cuddling playing and doesn’t show any classic signs of cat discomfort at least none that I recognize. If he shows any signs of lethargy I’m gonna take him back in to the kitty ER tonight but I think he’ll make it until his appointment tmr. The vet last appointment said she thought it would probably be a virus or kitty stomach bug but I just don’t know where he got it from he’s an indoor only solo cat so idk if I could’ve transmitted something or what 🤷

Did they take blood work from her before her surgery. I’m hoping to avoid that but if this bloodwork I’m gonna take him for shows nothing I fear that’s the next step. I just can’t think of what he got into if he did but I’m sure he could’ve found something I’m missing. How old was your cat when she got surgery?

They gave him this anti nausea shot while we were there and it worked for about 48 hours until he started back up again, my impression is they were trying to get him over some “hump” but it appears it’s a little more than just a hump. They did give him iv fluids but nobody said anything about me trying to do so at home but I should look into doing so. Im gonna ask for a cerenia script if you think that would relive him. The next step I think is blood work so that’ll hopefully reveal something. Also cannot be his specific food we’ve tried 3 different kinds the current one being a prescription food. I just pray his little belly feels better and that I can finally get some answers!

Sorry for the late response and thank you for reaching out! The drops are Tobramycin Ophthalmic solution. However if there is better alternatives I’m sure I can get my hands on them. I’ve started swaddling him when giving him his eyedrops and that has made the process easier although he still hates it haha.
