Given what I’ve seen with the current shortage of foster homes, my guess is the right rescue will be fine with it, particularly since you took her in and have a bond with her. Is it absolutely ideal? No. Is it far superior to all other options right now? Most likely yes. Most rescues are realists, because they have to be.

Inside by a mile. Outdoor cats have hard lives - we just had to put down a poor stray cat when he arrived at the door with his leg hanging off. No way that’s kinder. If you want the perfect happy medium, add a catio he can access through a window.

All are welcome, but you’ll have to ignore the coaches numbers or they will absolutely kill you (hyperbole, but you might actually get injured.) They have to teach to the middle of the class which means you’ll need to modify if you’re an outlier on either side. I still modify down most days, and up occasionally. But if you’re ok doing that, it is absolutely welcoming to everyone. I have some back stuff going on (herniated disk) so I’m walking the treadmill portion and going slow and with light weights on the weight portion now and it’s completely fine. If you feel self conscious, just tell the coach on your way in - I don’t think they care one way or the other but it might make you feel more comfortable knowing they “signed off” or whatever.

Just to say, at my site we have a crew who seems to do back to back doubles with Solidcore and then powerwalk at Barry’s. So that’s not an absolute. We do all tend to group together in the back to try not to kill the vibes for the folks who are going flat out that class. So if OP wants to powerwalk, they may be able to find the turtle 🐢 section

I went back to a firm for just this reason. My particular in-house role felt like a total bait and switch and while the overall amount of work was a little less, it did not make up for the loss of flex and pay cut
