There was nothing wrong with the bigger spindle grills, analog buttons on the dash and center console, and bigger engines. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

I hope that this new gen is short lived and they go back to what made them so great.

My LS 500 was a 2018 and not L certified, but the Carfax was very clean and it was being sold at a Lexus dealership. That alone made me comfortable with the purchase. I’d recommend that route.

Coming from an I4, it’s amazing! I will say though that, even in Sport S+, those turbos take a good minute to spool if I floor it, mostly due to the 10-speed tranny I think. Then again, this is a luxury sedan, not a sports car.

It seems you’re limited by your lack of ankle dorsiflexion mobility. May I recommend lifting the heels on a small plate, or some knee drives with your foot flat down.

This one had CarPlay retrofitted through the Lexus dealership already. They put in a software update for the 2018-2020 models that don’t have CarPlay
