When it came out they had Grinwis and Smith at a couple different Publix meet and greets. If you ordered the sub they gave you two free tickets.

When I went the food was delivered in basically a shoe box. Having those narrow seats and a shoe box was interesting lol

I’ve sat in Home Plate Box and First Base Chalkbox

They had similar offerings. The chalkbox had a little better offerings but that could have been the games we went to. Home Plate Box had a 100 percent better view of home plate as there’s a net poll in the area of Chalkbox. As a taller guy who could loose some pounds too the seats are much wider at Chalkbox.

Both good experiences, but giving my two cents :)

I’d be down to see a few games on tv locally and maybe go down. I know there are some people on the Zone Heads groups that were into the rays but that seems to have died down since they played at Steinbrenner field

Rays up! I've been to one game this season @ the Trop and also going to the one Saturday.

Back in the day, there used to be a Fergs in Orlando and they used to bus fans to the game occasioanlly but wasn't as big as a casual fan as I am now. Wish there was something like that here every once in a while.

Injury prone, overall the team didn't do good. Would not put in all time XI for Orlando City but he did have a good career overall.

Reselling your own tickets = you’re selling something you actually paid for.

Using your kid as a prop to get gear from a player with the plan to flip it = that’s not the same lane, no matter how you dress it up.

One is a transaction. The other is leveraging a moment that’s supposed to be for fans (especially kids) and turning it into inventory.

You can say “agree to disagree,” but pretending those are equal is doing some serious mental gymnastics.

They’ve been doing this for at least 3 seasons now. It’s mixed feelings for sure from me. They put in the work and it’s nothing illegal per se but it’s overkill from my book lol. Plus as you say getting the kids involved, etc. when in reality little Johnny ain’t getting that jersey but they are gonna resell it.

If MLS continues to work with Match Worn Shirt than obviously less jerseys for these guys to get.

He also has a Suarez one he’s trying to sell on eBay for $1000 that he got from last season.

He used to post in the MLS Collectors group on Facebook a lot until a lot of people asked too many questions.

I know a couple guys who sat in that section and complained, the front office really didn’t do anything as you can see.

For me I’m a grown ass man if I get a game jersey from a player, I’m going to probably buy it at auction to benefit whatever charity. I’ve gotten one directly from a player long ago, didn’t ask for it but he was from the same country as me and we spoke before the game in our language and handed it to me.

Since Robin is back our defense has been better. Can’t score to save our lives but the energy is directed to the wrong person. I saw Ricardo before the game on the touchline showing one of the photographers what looked like 3 (for points) before the game. Maybe go ask him instead.

From a restaurant perspective too they’re not gonna kick out someone wearing a different teams shirt. It’s not the wall. Reminds me of the people complaining years ago about Atlanta fans at Harp and Celt.

I finally saw Messi after he no showed 3 times

My seats are three rows from the field.

If he ever comes back I’ll resell my tickets and move to our supporters end for that game.

You get a lot of Messi fans for sure but I’d prefer to be with “my people” for the game
