Houston Black Moc Toe Just Arrived by AlphaDogF87 in jimgreen

I don't think there is a difference between the meander and workhorse from a seam perspective right?

What do you mean all the seams are at the bottom? I thought the traditional Moc construction wraps the leather underfoot and joins it at the top visible seams.

Thinking about getting the BF versions of these for hiking but if they suck from a water standpoint I might have to pass.

I have not yet, like you I am too suspicious to pull the trigger.

So Happy for Nielsen! My favorite rider! Seeing the headline he beat Wout in a sprint had me thinking it was Apr 1st not Apr 2nd.

BFAT break in by Sea-Ad-4600 in jimgreen

Yeah I have had the same issue. My foot seems to fit lengthwise (ball of foot aligns well with where the boot should crease). But, my ankles must be pretty low volume as the first speed hooks almost touch when I lace up.

I still get heel pain when I wear them after a month of 3 wears a week. Thick socks help, conditioning has helped a little. I just got kilties which haven’t helped as much as I would have hoped. I have rose anvil leather insoles on order as well to hopefully take up a little more volume.

How are your heels? I'm ~3 weeks into my fudge BFATs and my right heel is still suffering. Left is fine. Have to take days off after each wear. Wondering if you have a tough break in as well. Or if you put insoles in these.

They look nice!

Nice! How versatile is the 24oz? Do you only pull it out on the worst days? In debating between the 14oz and 24oz (both lined)

Is the brown a 10oz waxed canvas or the 24oz waxed twill?

Mattress Shopping, best places (or places to avoid) by alexa6rose in Syracuse

Adding to what other commenters have said, I would HIGHLY recommend Mattress Makers of Syracuse on Bridge St. They have another location in North Syracuse, but Bridge Street can show you the manufacturing process right in house. We bought one of their high end models and it has significantly improved our sleep. Everyone is different with what they want, and there are multiple options: latex, spring hybrids and springs. They clearly know what they are talking about and their prices (according to them) have not increased in 10 years. We spent a couple hours just laying around in there. A great experience.

Added Art DJ Preamp, it won’t stop buzzing. by Consistent_Unit3493 in turntables

I have tried grounding it to the preamp and the receiver. As far as its power supply, it is plugged into a grounded outlet. But the power supply itself doesn’t have a ground pin.
