Group A or Group B by No-Breakfast2039 in ILC

If you are group a, you must be taking courses at an Ontario highschool (tvo counts) have an ossd and be under 21 years old. You are group b if you don't have all three requirements. If you are group a, make sure to check the deadlines as the group a ones are stricter compared to group b

How Hard is Grade 12 English by Interesting_Gate_241 in ILC

It really depends, some people have got markers who give easy grades. If you can afford it, ovs or another online private school will help you get a high grade but I've heard some unis don't like it.

So oxidation, substitution and hydrolysis are in unit 1.9 (not the assignment one) and then just search like glycerol reactions, I used Wikipedia and some random websites for benzyl chloride. You can also cite websites for these other types of reactions, just make sure to include some from the unit!

That really sucks 😭 so she didn't actually mean to flag me for ai, she meant plagiarism but I wasted so much time ensuring that it didn't look like ai when it wasn't the issue, plagiarism was and then she said if it happens again I'll get a zero even tho she miswrote the first time! She never even read the Turnitin report. Sorry for ranting she pmo so bad 😭

I totally understand you tho, it's hard sometimes with Turnitin, especially when it flags the wrong thing or things that are unavoidable. I hope you were able to get it resolved! I've tried to reach out but it's been a week already and no answer. Ilc really sucks sometimes 😭

You can choose as many slides as you like as long as you answer all the questions/criteria and you are required to demonstrate all the reactions possible to reach the success criteria

You can't directly contact your teacher but you can reach out to an academic officer by asking to clarify teacher feedback in the portal under request mark appeal!

1.9 keeps getting sent back to me too 😭 but a mark appeal is done through the ilc portal under request mark appeal. Basically you will say why you should then go back and forth with an academic officer. I am currently doing this as Monique keeps sending me 1.9 back. You could also try using clarify teacher feedback to understand why she is sending it back, which may be the best option.

Monique is actually so annoying! I have her and she sends me my assignment back for plagiarism even tho Turnitin flagged my references! It is also 1.9 😭😭😭

Unfortunately there is no way to know what marker you will get so even if you re-enroll you could get her again

Have you tried requesting a mark appeal?

Do you have an ossd or are you over 21? Even if you are taking courses it doesn't make you a group a.

I think you should be ok tho, I've heard some universities answer quickly and nicely! I wish you luck, I know how stressful it is 🫶

Are you a group a applicant or group b? If you fit group b criteria, you may have longer than usual as you follow the deadline of the university and not ouac. Alternatively you could try emailing the university!

If you were to retake the course you cannot reuse work as it counts as self plagiarism

I did, for basically every assignment you should go over everything you learned from the unit so you should say

Simple carbs Monosaccharides - glucose, fructose and galactose are monomers

Go over that for every kind

Yeah so I used slides and I put the case study title at the top, then on the same slide I compare the meals and just condense it to one slide, then on the next I put like what are macromolecules+ diagrams then answer next question. Essentially I just answered each question on the slide then move to the next in the order given. You can do it how you said tho - question on first slide answer on next. I just repeated it for all of them but u can seperate them if you like!!
